Scaring is Caring in All New Lorcana Release

The Thirteenth set in the Disney Lorcana TCG is due out in July, and it looks like it is going to be another great chapter in the story so far. The set will be arriving in local Tabletop Gaming Stores such as Chaos Cards in Folkestone on July 17th 2026, followed by a wider release on July 24th 2026.

To say we are excited about this release is an understatement. We recently attended the press conference, which we covered in Prune Back the Threat in All New Lorcana and can safely say this looks like it will be a fantastic set.

This chapter looks set to be the scariest one yet, and with a huge line-up of 207 cards, we cannot wait to get ripping those boosters and discovering what’s in store!

The Illumineers are in peril. The mysterious vine from Winterspell is growing and invading Lorcana. The vine is growing all sorts of threatening things, which we discuss more in our sneak peek over on the Chaos Cards blog.

Luckily for us, Attack of the Vine is bringing in the hard hitters to deal with this threat. You can expect beloved characters from Monsters Inc., Up and Turning Red to join the fight against the vine.

We can’t wait to see how these cards will play out in Attack of the Vine. The ones we are looking forward to in particular are:

• Sulley - The New Boss
• Boo - Energetic Child
• Mike Wazowski -Well-Rounded  Entertainer

Much like the Wilds Unknown release, Attack of the Vine will feature a Pre-Release Box exclusive to Tabletop Gaming stores such as Chaos Cards.

The Pre-Release Box includes:

• 6 Attack of the Vine booster packs
• 4 themed dice (the team at Lorcana went to great lengths to create these themed dice for this set!)
• 1 randomised promo card
• 1 exclusive poster (these look AWESOME!)

Alongside the Pre-Release boxes, there will be the standard Booster Boxes, individual booster packs, and the ever-popular Illumineer's Trove.

An Illumineers Trove is the ultimate treasure for both collectors and players. The Trove comes with a gorgeous full-art storage box and six card dividers to keep your collection safely organised by ink type.

It also comes with six ink-themed dice to help you track character and location damage. Plus, the included spin-dial counter doesn’t just make tracking Lore easy, it makes it look good as well!

The Illumineer’s Trove includes:

• 6 Card Dividers
• 8 Booster Packs with 12 cards per pack

And don’t forget, if you want to protect your deck in style, Disney Lorcana has you covered. There are plenty of options you can check out over here, but Attack of the Vine sees the release of the following:

• Sulley & Mike Playmat: Featuring some pretty awesome Attack of the Vine artwork of Mike and Sulley escaping the vine, this fabric-topped mat prevents card damage during gameplay and features an anti-slip rubber bottom.
• Winnie the Pooh Card Sleeves: Each pack contains 65 standard-sized, matte-finish sleeves. The matte texture ensures a smooth shuffle, prevents glare, and keeps fingerprints away and is the perfect way to protect your beloved cards.

Attack of the Vine wraps up the current story arc, but the adventure doesn't have to stop there. Fans of the vine can look forward to a brand-new cooperative game hitting shelves this October.

Winnie the Pooh and other characters from the Hundred Acre Wood are heading to Attack of the Vine as well, and these cards will come into play even more with the release of The Great Hunny Rescue. 

The Great Hunny Rescue is a standalone game designed for 1 to 2 players, and at the moment, it looks like it will be similar in style to the Palace Heist game from The Reign of Jafar era.

Here are a few things we learned about the upcoming Winnie the Pooh themed cards:

• Winnie the Pooh - Archmage: This card is no longer a "vanilla" card (meaning Pooh will have some abilities!). More details will be revealed closer to release.

• The "Hunny" Classification: These cards get stronger the more cards you have in play. But remember, Hunnymancy is only for the pure of heart!

• Christopher Robin: This card features unique mechanics tied to the Hunny classification. The Amethyst/Sapphire duelling card will directly tie into the Adventuring Party mechanic in The Great Hunny Rescue.
