Go Beyond the Board at UKGE 2025 with The Pin Collective

The UK Board Games Expo in Birmingham is just around the corner and the Chaos Cards team are beavering away behind the scenes to make 2025 our biggest year yet! 2025 marks the nineteenth year the Expo has taken over four halls of the NEC and we cannot wait to be back.

You may have seen our previous post on what to expect at the Expo this year. Well, 2025 brings something new to the UKGE and the guys at Chaos Cards are pretty hyped for it… Pin trading has arrived at the NEC. Known as The Pin Collective, this new initiative is being introduced across the whole of this year’s Expo, and the team are rather excited about the pin badges on offer!

Welcome to The Pin Collective

This years Pin Collective will give attendees the chance to discover, collect and trade unique enamel pins which have been created specifically for the event. These exclusive, shiny pins are only available from each exhibitors stand over the course of the weekend. The Chaos Cards team think the Pin Collective is such a great idea as it gives everyone attending the event a fun and engaging way to explore the event and make friends. Plus, who doesn’t want to add more pin badges to their collection?

Fresh and Delicious Chaos

We can’t wait to share our ‘Fresh and Delicious’ Chaos Cards pin badge with you all. If you're wondering why we went for this design, well the truth is we didn't want to make something boring and corporate that just focused on our logo- we wanted to make something silly and fun to represent how much fun we always have at UKGE! There will be 500 shiny pins available from our friendly team over at Stand 3-302 across the weekend.

The pin, designed in house by the Chaos team is a limited design, and once it is gone, it’s gone. As fans of the retro pins with a tongue in cheek vibe from the 80s and 90s, we thought, why not do the same? And besides, who at Chaos- or our customers- aren't fresh and delicious?! So make sure you get there early to be in with a chance of owning this fun little piece of Chaos Cards merchandise.

The Perfect Side Quest

For those wanting to trade pins, you can head over to Hall 4, Stand 4-Z. Look out for announcements about the feature times for swapping within this zone, where you can swap more pins within one visit.

At the moment there looks to be about 34 stands offering exclusive pins at the event. There is even a Pin Collective starter set, which is subject to availability and will be available at the UKGE merchandise stand. So time to get collecting!

Beyond the Board

The Chaos Cards team cannot wait to take part in the Pin Collective this year. We think the initiative is perfect for both collectors and casual fans and is the perfect way to bring home an exciting memento from this years Expo.
