The Chaos Cards Team are back at the UK Board Game Expo!

Every year, the NEC in Birmingham becomes home to the UK Games Expo; the largest tabletop gaming convention in the UK. Chaos Cards are back for 2025, and we can’t wait to see you all!
The Chaos Cards team can think of so many reasons for you to get excited about the UK Board Games Expo this year. It can be busy but we all have such a blast. We love having a whole weekend dedicated to tabletop gaming and getting to see a lot of our buyers in real life! Who doesn’t love getting to talk about games and hobbies for a whole weekend?
Are you thinking about heading to the UK Games Expo this year? We all think it’s a fantastic event for anyone who loves games, and there really is something for everyone! Here are some compelling reasons why the Chaos Cards team think you should consider a visit this May:
The Trade Halls. This is where the Chaos Cards Expo Team will be! (Do come and say hi!) The Trade Hall is a buzzing hub of exhibitors and traders, don’t forget to pick up a map in case you get lost!
Tournaments. Every year the UK Games Expo hosts card games, board games and dice game tournaments, as well as some miniatures. Get ready to test your skills out in a fun but competitive atmosphere. (These tournaments do require an additional event ticket.)
Shows. Did you know that there is plenty of entertainment to be had at the Expo? Theres many live shows scattered across the weekend that combine gaming with comedy and even some audience participation!
Food. We love food. And luckily there are many, many options available at the Expo this year. So whether you fancy a meal, snack or a drink, there is something for everyone.
Family Friendly. Every year, the Chaos Cards team love seeing all the families out and about having a great time. There is so many things to enjoy for families with kids of all ages, (even families with grown up children!) There is a treasure hunt, competitions, designated children’s areas and a play zone where you can have a go at a wide variety of games.
Cosplay. You can’t really have something as huge as the Uk Board Games Expo and not have people dress up. It all goes hand in hand; From Storm troopers, to Dr Who and even some Super Heroes. (plus the occasional Orc…) There is even a designated Cosplay stand, and photo opportunities daily.
Games. We couldn’t talk about the Expo and NOT talk about the huge variety of games that will be on offer, From Demo games, to the more established games we all know and love. There is plenty of opportunities for open gaming across the whole weekend.
