Uncover Archazia’s Island in the Latest Awesome Lorcana Release

The Chaos Cards team has plenty of Disney fans, so you can imagine how hyped we are about anything Lorcana related. The team are also pretty passionate about pets; so you can imagine the excitement for the release of Archazia’s Island. What a great combination of our favourite interests! We couldn’t wait to see the cards featuring Bolt, the Aristocats and Lady and the Tramp.

Unravel the Secrets behind Archazia’s Island

Disney Lorcanas highly anticipated first release of 2025 provided the follow up to last years swashbuckling Azurite Sea. Archazia’s Island see’s our Illumineers come across the very first Illumineer; Archazia. Archazia is the keeper of knowledge from a lost era, and even has the ability to harness the most powerful forms of inkcasting magic. The mysterious new figure is a completely original character, created just for Lorcana. We cannot wait to discover more about Archazia and how she helps to develop the lore throughout the card game.

Into the Unknown

There are an exciting 204 cards within Lorcanas seventh release, including some new ‘dual ink’ cards. These new cards contain the characteristics of two magical ink colours; allowing characters to show off even more so then in previous sets. (They are quite similar to the cards seen in Magic the Gathering.) The Chaos Cards team are quite excited to see how these new cards play out throughout the game.

Archazia’s Island also introduces more mechanics and strategies to the game, which in turn create new challenges for our intrepid Illumineers. The island itself is filled with hidden treasures, mysterious creatures and new characters to discover. We think the additional lore adds to the already immersive world of Lorcana and adds even more depth.

Become the Ultimate Illumineer

Each booster pack will come with the standard 12 cards, and will contain 1 of 20 different Lore cards in addition. These card all tell part of the Lorcana lore on one side, and has some puzzle style artwork on the other. The Chaos Cards team love how Archazia’s Island slots right in with the previous Lorcana releases.

Characters included within this Lorcana expansion are Cogsworth, Mulan, Tamatoa, Madam Mim and Sergeant Calhoun. Heavily featured is Bolt, who appears across the artwork of the set. A special mention should go to the artwork featured on the cards throughout all the Lorcana releases. It really is stunning. The designs are truly beautiful to look at, with each card as dynamic and interesting as the last. We love how the characters stay true to their Disney heritage, whilst all slotting in perfectly within the world of Lorcana.

It would be crazy to write about Archazia’s Island and not mention the upcoming Reign of Jafar. Possibly one of our all time favourite Disney villains, the team here are rather excited about him joining Ursula as a Lorcana villain!
