Pokemon fire up in Mega Evolutions – Phantasmal Flames

Have you heard the news? Mega Evolutions - Phantasmal Flames is set to be released on the 14th November and the Chaos Cards team are pretty hyped to find out more about this fiery new release! Mega Evolution – Phantasmal Flames will introduce yet more mighty Mega Evolution Pokémon to the world of Pokémon. It looks like it will be a great set, read on to find more.
Mega Charizard X and Mega Gengar Lead the Way
Mega Charizard X and Mega Gengar will take centre stage in this upcoming release, with a focus on Fire and Darkness type Pokémon. There will even be new Pokémon ex cards to look forward to. We can't wait to see which Pokémon make an appearance in Phatasmal Flames!

With a deep chill to rival the heat, the shadowy figure of Mega Gengar ex slowly rises into view, and both Pokémon prepare to attack. The Chaos Cards team are pretty excited to see more of the new and distinctive art style we have been seeing with the ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards. These cards which have only recently been introduced in the trading card game, feature a silhouette of the regular version of the Pokémon in the background of the artwork, creating a unique and fun aesthetic. We cannot wait to add some to our decks and get battling from the 14th November 2025. (November looks set to be a busy month as Lorcanas next installment; Whispers in the Well is due to be released as well!)
Mega Evolutions – Phantasmal Flames; What to Expect
Phantasmal Flames is packed with cards collectors and players will want to get their hands on, including:
- Six Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
- Four Pokémon ex
- 13 illustration rare Pokémon
- 17 ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Trainer and Energy cards
- Five special illustration rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Supporter cards
