It only seemed natural then to round up a selection of Dog related games that would make a great addition to any games night; from strategic dog walking adventures to crime solving mysteries (yes you read that right!) there is sure to be a game for every dog lover. Read on to find out more!
Dog Park

Are you the best dog walker around? Dog Park is the game to find out! It is a beautiful, mid weight game that places the player as a professional dog walker.
The game is designed for 1-4 players who must recruit, walk and care for their dogs over four rounds. Each round is split into four phases where players must choose their routes and dogs carefully so they can earn the best reputation as this helps you win!
To make Dog Park even better, there are a number of outstanding expansions, including European Dogs, Dogs of the World, Famous Dogs and New Tricks. Each new expansion promises to add even more variety to your dog walks.
The Chaos Cards team think the game is beautifully illustrated, with each dog showing its own personality. Combine the cute artwork with the fun dog related facts on each card and you might even find yourself rather distracted from the game at hand! We like that the rules are fairly simple to understand, with the light strategy element giving the game a nice ‘chilled out’ vibe.

Think you know your pugs from your poodles? 100 Pics: Dog Breeds is a fun and unique flash card game for ages 7 and up. It’s perfect for showing off your knowledge of some of the world’s most recognizable dog breeds.
The game is a great way to improve skills such as vocabulary, spelling and memory, as players have to solve an anagram to discover the dog breed of the pooch in the picture. The family friendly game is a fun and engaging way to discover interesting facts about dog breeds, characteristics and trivia.
100 Pics: Dog Breeds is also a handy size, making it the perfect game to take on car rides, restaurants or holidays. We love that you can play the game solo or with family and friends- it makes a really great present or stocking filler.
Dog Crimes

From the creators of the top-selling Cat Crimes, Dog Crimes is a stand-alone, deductive reasoning game that’s perfect for fans of mysteries. This game features a cast of all-new canine characters and 40 brand-new mysteries to solve. Dog Crimes is a solo player game, so is perfect for when you need a little downtime for yourself.
We think that the game is a great choice for players aged 8 and over and it can last as long as you want it to last, with an average game lasting about 12 minutes. The game has 40 mysteries to solve, with a series of clues to help identify who is responsible. The game is great for developing critical thinking and logical reasoning skills as you use the clues, dog traits and evidence on the game board to identify the culprit of the crime. We think Dog Crimes is perfect for dog lovers and anyone who likes a good puzzle or mystery.
Dog Lover

If you fancy being a hero, then Dog Lover might be the game for you! The card drafting game requires players to fetch cards, collect bones and gather food for dogs you have rescued from a shelter. The game is perfect for between 2 and 4 players aged 10 and above, and its a nice, quick game lasting about 30 minutes on average.
All players start the game with a random dog card and a special trick card. The game starts with a 9x9 grid of cards where players ‘take’ a card based on their trick cards. All dogs have a special food requirement that must be fulfilled in order to score points. The player who takes care of their beloved dogs the best will score the most victory points and win! The game may be familiar to those who have played Cat Lady in the past- game play is similar- but with the addition of new card types and mechanisms. The guys at Chaos Cards love a good pun and it is safe to say that Dog Lovers has plenty of puns to go alongside the fabulous artwork.

For those who love tabletop role-playing games, Animal Adventures: Tales of Dungeons and Doggies is a series of lovingly detailed and full of character miniatures that brings canine adventurers to your campaigns. The miniatures are fully compatible with with the 5e rules set from Steamforged Games.
The set includes racial, and class rules, items and world building advice to seamlessly integrate these loyal companions into any game. Each volume of Dungeons and Doggies contains 6 adorable dog miniatures, which you can either use as they come, or paint. Adventurers Unleashed: Volume 3 contains brave Brianna the Boxer Paladin, Rupert the Jack Russell fighter, Elvis the Cavalier Bard, Kai the Shiba Inu Ranger, Dodger the Greyhound monk, and Angel the Pitbull Cleric. We think these cute miniatures would make a great addition to any D&D players campaign.
Fort Cats and Dogs Expansion

Fort is a popular 2-4 player card game about building forts and following friends. In the base game, you build a deck as if you're a kid trying to grow your circle of friends, collecting pizza and toys, and building the coolest fort to score the most victory points.
In the Fort Cats and Dogs expansion you have begged and pleaded with your parents and finally...it's time to get a pet! The Cats & Dogs Expansion adds two modules to the Fort base game: dogs and cats. Dogs are loyal and will stay in your doghouse if you meet their needs, earning you points at the end of the game. Cats are more fickle, moving around to different players' yards based on the cards they play. The more cats you have at the end of the game, the more points you score! The artwork within the expansion perfectly complements the base game, plus, we love the addition of the little doghouses with the game prompts on.
