The Chaos Cards team think that Journey Together is a much needed return to Trainer’s Pokémon, and 2004 mechanics. (Which is a step away from the EX formats we have seen utilised a lot in recent sets.) We love that this Pokémon expansion will celebrate the deep bond between Pokémon and their trainer. That's what Pokémon is all about right?
Everyone knows how important trainer cards are - and Journey Together really brings some game changing additions to the table. The new set features fan favourites such as N, Iono, Lillie and Hop. It's great that Journey Together switches up the Pokémon eras and allows these trainers to stand out for the first time in a while.

Art Work Level up!
2025 has already been such a bumper year for Pokémon, we are pretty spoilt for choice already and it’s only March! Just take a look at Prismatic Evolutions – all hail Eevee, between that dreamy set and Journey Together, this years Pokémon decks are positively flooded with possibilities.
One of the great things about Journey Together is that the cards are not only fun to play, but awesome to look at. The Chaos Cards team believe that the artwork in the latest Pokémon sets are going from strength to strength, and Journey Together is no exception. Just take a look at Lillies Clefairy Special Illustration Rare, it’s STUNNING. The 31 alternate art cards are expected to be highly sort after, as well as the Special Illustration Rares, good luck!
Elite Trainer Box; The Ultimate Trainers Dream!
The Journey Together Elite Trainer Box is such a great addition to any Pokémon Trainers collection. (Check out our previous post about the Surging Sparks ETB here!) The rather excellent N’s Zorua full art promo card is included with the elite trainer box, along with nine Scarlet and Violet – Journey Together boosters packs, 45 energy cards, damage counter dice, coin flip die, condition markers and a great looking box that doubles up as storage. As always, it comes with the rather handy players guide, always useful when building decks with this expansion.

There is a nice variety of blister packs available with Pokémon: Journey Together. These packs are perfect for expanding your card collection quickly, and of course more booster packs mean more chances to get those highly desired cards! The Pokémon premium Checklane Blister Set of Two comes in two variations; one with Klinklang and another with Rhyperior. Both Checklane Blister packs contain 3 relevant cards, 1 coin and 1 blister pack. The 3 pack Blister set contains an exclusive foil promo card and 3 Journey Together Booster packs to open. The different blister pack designs come with a different Pokémon or promo card.
