The Chaos Cards Tabletop store in Folkestone, Kent run some amazing craft workshops with their resident artist Becky Vincer. Prepare to level up your crafting skills with these inclusive workshops, literally bursting with fun and games. And the best bit? You get to take home your amazing creations at the end of the session.

Why should you come and craft with Chaos Cards?

• It is SUPER FUN! Who doesn’t love creating a Pokémon related masterpiece to show off to all their friends?

• Let your imagination run WILD. Have you ever wanted to see what Gengar looks like with a moustache? Well in these workshops you have the absolute freedom to do just that!

• Meet fellow Pokemon trainers! One thing we LOVE about these workshops is seeing the friendships that build and develop throughout the sessions. (Plus, we really love to see our regular Pokemon pals who come to every single workshop we have.)

• We provide the materials and clean up the mess so you don’t have to! Yup, even down to the glue and scissors. So unleash your inner artist!

• Finally, we think its a great way to spend an hour and a half. Plus there is even the chance to have a look at the board games library upstairs or stock up on Pokémon booster packs while hanging around!

The Workshop team try to make the workshops as fun and inclusive as possible. This is really important to the Chaos Cards team as we want the workshops to be accessible to everyone. (If you have any suggestions on how we can improve in future workshops, please let us know.)

The great thing about these Pokémon workshops is that adults and kids get the chance to learn new skills in a supportive environment, they can meet other like minded Pokémon fans. Most importantly, they get to create and keep an awesome piece of work. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to own a one of a kind piece of art?

We love to see your amazing Pokémon masterpiece at the end of each workshop. Becky and the Chaos Cards team always enjoy seeing how different each Pokémon masters end result is. Think Pokémon Crafts are just for kids? Think again!

The Chaos Cards team don’t just do workshops for kids! We recently did a grown ups Pokémon evening, where adults had the chance to create a Snorlax trinket dish out of clay. It was so much fun and there was lots of cake and tea to share around. It was really great to get together with like minded Pokémon enthusiasts and have a catch up on good films or TV shows to watch.

As well as workshops, we have celebrations for Pokémon day each year. This year we had activities such as Pokémon games, badge making, competitions and some fun photo opportunities.

We don’t stop at Pokémon either. In December we had a ‘Christmas in the Shire’ event, which was a hobbit themed event for a local community arts group. (It was full of joy, merriment and potatoes!) There are also weekly Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! Events. As well as Star Wars Unlimited and Lorcana. Check out the details here.

Will runs a Miniature Painting workshop every Monday. And Dungeon Masters can come along and take part in our regular Dungeons and Dragons meetings on a Monday evening with Jack. Most sessions cost £2 unless stated otherwise.
