Castle Combo is perfect for between 2-5 players and lasts around 25 minutes on average, making it perfect for family games nights. Castle Combo is essentially a card based game, which is easy and super speedy to set up. The game comes with a set of simple and easy to follow instructions, so you can play straight out of the box. Players only need a few cards laid out in a 3x3 grid. Each card has an instant effect, and this is how you gain keys and money throughout game play. Cards also add up to your final score at the end of the game. The person with the most points wins! Wahoo!

The artwork for Castle Combo is really fun, almost cartoon like in style. We think it should appeal to lots of different people. The quirky artwork really lends itself to creating a pleasant and immersive gaming experience. It’s nice that the components that make up the rest of the game are just as appealing too.

Inside the box you get two decks; a gray castle deck and a brown village deck. There’s a nice little score pad which allows you to keep track of points throughout the game. As you play, you add a different character to your tableau with each turn. Make sure you choose the right character for your game to maximise your turn. This is where it is important to be strategic and try to think ahead.
