Lego Magic and Mayhem for Fortnite and Harry Potter Fans

The Magical World of Harry Potter Expands!

• First up we have the Hogwarts Express Book Nook (76450) which is not just an exciting build but an awesome display piece for any bookshelf. The Lego set features a fully buildable Hogwarts express and carriage, as well as mini figures of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and their beloved pets Hedwig and Scabbers. The book nook is perfect for recreating your favourite scenes from Kings Cross platform 9 and three quarters. Older fans may wish to use the model as book ends when separated or as a cute book nook. Coming in at 832 pieces, the Hogwarts Express book nook is perfect for Lego builders aged 10 and above.

• The Chomping Monster Book of Monsters (76449) is a personal favourite of many in the Chaos Cards team, it really looks great. The fully interactive Lego set even has a fun ‘chomping’ mechanism, with hidden wheels and a full pull-back function so it can zoom off, just like in the book. The Monster Book of Monsters comes with a minifigure of Neville Longbottom, complete with a mini book of monsters. This Harry Potter Lego set is perfect for Harry Potter fans from ages 9 and up and is made up of 518 pieces.

• Finally, we can’t wait to build the Hogwarts Castle: Main Tower (76458.) This set happens to be the biggest minifigure-scale model yet of the main tower at Hogwarts. It is a LARGE build, coming in at 2135 pieces, so we would say it is most appropriate for Lego builders aged 10 and above due to its fiddly nature. This Harry Potter set includes a whopping 12 mini-figures (featuring Harry himself, Hermione, Neville, Dumbledore, Professor Kettleburn, Nearly Headless Nick, Fluffy, Hedwig and Fawkes!) A really awesome addition to this set is the interactive features such as the trapdoor to escape Fluffy, trigger activated Devils Snare, Flying Keys and a swivelling staircase to Dumbledore's office. A cool thing to note about the Main Tower is you can keep it as a standalone piece or connect it to the other Lego Hogwarts sets to build the most detailed Lego Hogwarts yet!

• As well as the three sets mentioned above, there are the following sets being released this June as well; Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (76445,)Fawkes: Dumbledores Phoenix (76448,)Privet Drive, Aunt Marge’s Visit (76451,) the rather awesome looking Quality Quidditch Supplies and Ice Cream Parlour (76452,) and finally the Thestral Family set (76458.)

Drop into the Lego Fortnite Action

Bring the excitement of the Battle Royale into the real world with the new Lego Fortnite sets. The Lego Fornite Battlebus was a big hit amongst the Chaos Cards team. Each set comes with an exclusive QR code so gamers can unlock an exclusive in-game outfit for their Fortnite character. Unlock your creativity and bring gaming to the real world

• Durr Burger Restaurant (77076,) features mini figures of Beach Bomber, Beef Boss and Grimey. The modular build features a cash register, condiment station, soft drinks dispenser and a drive-through menu, along with a spicy pepper plant and fertiliser. Durr Burger Restaurant comes in at 546 pieces and even has a removable attic, with room for accessories such as a shovel and dynamite.

• Next up is the adorable Lego Fortnite Klombo (77077) with movable legs, opening mouth and rotating tail. The Lego set even comes with a klomberry bush and detachable klomberries to keep your Klombo fed. The Lego Klombo is a fairly large build, with 1,084 pieces so is perfect for Lego builders aged 10 and above. This Lego set comes complete with mini figures of Adventure Peely and Oro, who can ride Klombo and help re-enact your favourite parts of the Fortnite game.

• Last up in the Lego Fortnite release is Peely and Sparkplugs Camp (77075.) The camp is one of the smaller sets and is made up of 250 pieces, it perfectly represents the first challenges a player encounters in Lego Fortnite Odyssey. The set comes with a campfire, workbench and ruins; along with a Supply Llama and wolf figures (complete with movable tail and legs!) It is great that this introductory Fortnite Lego set comes complete with mini figures of Peely, Sparkplug and a skeleton, all with miniature weapons to bring the game fully to life.

From the Halls of Hogwarts to the Battlebus, prepare for Lego Fun

All sets make use of the new intuitive instructions from Lego, where our master builders can use the Lego Builder App to zoom in and rotate models in 3D, track progress and save sets as they develop building skills. We love this fun element and can't wait to see how it develops over time. Will you be using the traditional paper instructions or trial the builder app?
