Chaos Cards at the Kent Business Awards 2025

We are a humble bunch here at Chaos Cards. We pride ourselves on delivering the best customer service, the widest range of tabletop games and the best experience when you order from us. Whether you order online or collect from our shop in Folkestone, Kent, you’ll find a group passionate about tabletop gaming. What you might not know is that we haven’t always shouted about all of this. This year however, that changed as we were nominated for two Business Awards! So we dressed up in our finest clothes and headed to the Ashford International Hotel for a show stopping evening to celebrate Chaos Cards and the other wonderful finalists. 

In December 2025, the team attended the Business Awards in Ashford and were excited to discover how we placed in two categories: Best Small Business in Kent and Best Customer Service in Kent. The awards focus on rewarding excellence in local Businesses, and as it was our first year entering, we were delighted to become finalists. 
 

With our 4.9/5 Feefo rating and customer feedback, we know that lots of people are happy with the customer service we provide (even at the busiest times of the year!). So being chosen as a finalist really shone a light on the amazing work our Customer Services team does day in and day out. We are looking forward to getting the certificate up in the office asap. Huge congratulations to Liz, Andy, Charlotte and Meenah - we don’t need an award to know you are the best at tabletop gaming customer service. 

For the category of Small Business, we found it hard to put into words just how much hard work every member of our team does in order to ensure that Chaos Cards delivers the best possible experience for all our customers. From attending UK Games Expo every June, to running community workshops and games, there is too much to list in this post, never mind trying to stick to a word count for an awards nomination. As a finalist, we found out that 40 businesses applied for the award, so to be in the top 5 is a huge achievement. Sadly, we didn’t win on the night, but we know that the competition was tough! 

We are going to have to start bulk buying these frames for all these certificates we’ve been receiving. We are so happy that Chaos Cards is finally being recognised as one of the best tabletop gaming retailers in Kent (and the world).

While we didn't walk away with the top prize in Ashford this year, simply being recognised as a finalist in both the Best Small Business and Best Customer Service categories is an incredible honour and proof that our passion for tabletop gaming truly resonates with our customers.

This nomination isn't just a win for the team; it's a win for our amazing community. Your continued support, feedback, and 5-star ratings (like our fantastic 4.9/5 on Feefo!) are the real prizes we value every single day.

Moving forward, the entire team at Chaos Cards is more motivated than ever to keep delivering the best service and the widest range of games possible, both in-store here in Folkestone, Kent, and online to the rest of the world. We’ve finally started shouting about our success, and trust us, we’re just getting started.
