Celebrate 15 years of Spinjiitzu with New Lego Ninjago

Did you know that 2026 marks the 15th anniversary of Lego Ninjago? Since 2011, the Ninjago universe has captured imaginations here at Chaos Cards with its exciting blend of martial arts, high-stakes drama, and epic fantasy. To celebrate this huge milestone, Lego is set to release a rather awesome selection of sets to celebrate the nostalgic legacy moments of the show whilst looking ahead to the upcoming stories of Dragons Rising.

So, whether you are an original fan from 15 years ago or a newcomer to the franchise, there’s sure to be a set for you. From detailed mechs and vehicles to iconic landmarks, the January 2026 range is the perfect way for fans from young to old to celebrate their favourite Ninjago scenes. We cannot WAIT to see what these sets have in store for us!

A peek at the 15th Anniversary Exclusives

First up in the 15th anniversary line up is the set we are looking forward to the most, the Ninja Character Display 15th Anniversary (71866). This set really is a Ninjago collectors dream. The compact and display friendly set features the iconic Monastery of Spinjitzu and is packed with authentic details, such as an opening gate and stone lantern, and a beautiful cherry blossom tree. It even includes a tearoom with artwork depicting the legendary season one battle between Master Wu and Garmadon.

The set includes eight minifigures: Kai, Zane, Jay, Lloyd, Master Wu, and Samurai X. Most excitingly, it includes a limited-edition Master of Lightning on a dedicated display stand.

Continuing the celebration is the Four Weapons Blacksmith (71858) set where fans can build the very first location from the 2011 pilot episode! This set includes six minifigures, including Maya, Ray, Nya, Blacksmith Kai, Master Wu, with a special Master of Earth anniversary figure. The forge opens to reveal a cosy bedroom with a hidden weapons shop. We love the addition of Ninjago Easter eggs and a secret map to the Golden Weapons, it’s a nice little touch for fans of the long running series!

What to Expect with All New Dragons Rising Sets!

The Ninjago story continues in the latest series: Dragons Rising. Lloyd, Jai and Nya are given the task of mentoring a new generation of heroes to find the elemental dragons before evil forces harvest their life force. If you want to relive the action at home we have three exciting sets coming in that would be excellent at receating your favourite scenes at home.

Jays Transforming Car (71854) is a versatile 2 in 1 car which can switch from high speed racer to dragon mode quickly and easily. Jays car features a dragon head, clawed wheels and rotating shurikens. This set comes with 5 mini figures. Including Jay, Nya and Dragon Form Kai, plus the villainous Earth Monster and Loyalist Leader so you can stage your very own battles of good vs. evil.

If you love heavy hitters, then Cole’s Mission Mech and Dragon Zane (71854) would be perfect for you! The poseable mech features a cockpit for Cole, a spring loaded blaster with two darts and even a sword. The mission mech set also includes an acid monster and dragon form Zane mini figures. Or there's the Ninja Vehicle Tree House Battle (71857) which comes with everything you need to re-enact the battle action from Dragons rising, including a 3 storey tree house, a helicopter, ninja motorbike and 6 mini figures.

For fans of the classic Ninjago Battling Tops then the Nya vs. Mutation Monster Spinner (71849) will bring the action to life in your own home. Use the launcher to spin Nya into battle against the Mutation Monster and see if her elemental power parts can knock the villain out. We love that you can battle this battling top with previous releases.

The January 2026 wave of Ninjago Lego sets are a great trip down memory lane for fans of the series; spanning from the pilot episode all the way up to the current adventures.
