While the Zeus Heavy Panzermech is often credited with the prestige of the German Heavy Panzermech program, it was the Thor that originally paved the way with its innovative use of Rift-tech in both design and application. First deployed alongside the Zeus in April 1946, the Thor was a revolutionary mobile pillbox designed for use in urban combat zones, drawing on lessons learned in key cities such as Stalingrad, Warsaw, and Brussels. The Thor boasts all-around armour to defend against flanking infantry, as well as a 150mm howitzer capable of demolishing any building or stronghold. Though it is not as swift as other vehicles, the Thor's 20mm autocannon and accompanying panzer grenadiers provide vital protection as it relentlessly clears enemy positions in close-quarter battles. Its manoeuvrability through the rubble-filled streets of urban battlefields makes it a dominant force on the front lines.
