In this map, players start with the ability to build only short routes. By investing in Technology Cards, you can extend your reach, claim ferry lines, and boost your scoring potential. The double-sided board also includes the Pennsylvania map, where players can purchase shares in rail companies to earn extra points.
Please note: This is an expansion and requires the original Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride: Europe base game to play.

The game arrived promptly and in perfect condition. This is an add on game so you do need either the original Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride Europe to provide counters, carriages and the coloured train cards (for Pennsylvania only). Both games expand on the original T2R concept Pennsylvania includes share bonuses, United Kingdom introduces 'Technologies' which are required before certain actions can be taken and needs a separate train card back including more locomotives than usual.. This variant also reduces the carriages from the normal 45 to 35 so the game can end quickly. We play a reduced version where only the 3 regional areas, the 3 train routes, the 4-6 train routes and the Ferry capability are used. We also disallow the Southampton-New York route as it can unbalance the game but that is our choice.
