As a family we've played Ticket to Ride quite a lot over the years on 6 different boards. I was looking for a fully featured edition for 5 and this was the chosen one as we already have Europe and didn't want the Original USA version. It's not as complicated as the UK expansion but has a similar dynamic to the Pennsylvania expansion, this time with passengers instead of shares to collect. It played well and had the uncertainty of who would win right to the end. Choosing whether to take short or long tickets adds an interesting set of choices. My eldest daughter decreed a reduction in stars as the meeples didn't stack! Given the cost of expansion boards for the TTR stable, this was really good value for money. We now have spare capacity to enable a full edition to be at home and taken away by the family at the same time. Delivery was as promised.
