The spotlight shines brightly, illuminating the stage of politics but the scene witnessed by the onlooking public is but a thin facade masking a much darker world of shadows, deceit and intrigue. “Gray Eminence” emulates a Twilight Struggle set in the arena of modern-day politics, between multiple powers battling for dominance. The protagonists are the driving force behind the political seats of power, each vying for the right to steer human destiny.
The game sees powerful figures manipulating money, power and influence to guide the course of multiple factions such as Global Conglomerates, large Foundations and Giant Corporations in order to assure certain victory. The victor in Gray Eminence will be the power having achieved most progress towards individual win conditions by the game’s end.
Personal gain and the common good feature as the core principals throughout the game, influencing all decision making, where both must be fully considered and used to best effect to fulfill an individual player’s personal goal.
