In addition to the campaign mode, this expansion also includes new track tiles, special stages and specialist riders that allow you to customize your decks.

Each of these additions can be used both in single-stage races and in the campaign mode.

Great addition to the Flamme Rouge collection. The new road layout pieces add greater jeopardy to the races making for breakaways and extra exhaustion cards. The real stars are the new riders who give greater depth to the races. My only criticism is that the scoring system is a bit fiddly.

Adds the last aspect needed to make Flamme Rouge great. Where tactics previously could be summed up as “stay in the peloton and save your high cards for the end” this forces you to consider which rider is best placed in the tour as well as to adapt your tactics to ensure they don’t drop in the points. All in all, adds significant depth to what is otherwise quite a light game without losing the pick up and play nature of the base game.
