Say “Hi!” to the New Blockbusting Minecraft Movie Lego Sets

The Minecraft Movie comes out later this year and what better way to celebrate its release then a range of all new Lego builds? Lego have already had great success with previous Minecraft Lego releases. Now you can explore even more exciting realms with the new Jack Black movie. 

Get ready to construct some epic builds from the new blockbusting Minecraft movie.

Craft the New Minecraft Movie

The Chaos Card team are already huge fans of the sprawling Lego Minecraft sets you can add to overtime. So you can only imagine our excitement for the new Minecraft movie coming out this year, along with the accompanying Lego sets. We cannot wait to get building. (Or should we say mining?)

The two sets at Chaos Cards are based on fun locations from the new Jack Black Minecraft movie. What we really like is that you can build the movie sets directly, or combine them with previous releases and create your own blocky landscapes. That's the best thing about Lego right? The adaptability.

The Minecraft Movie Lego tie ins include The Ghast Balloon Village Attack (21273,) a 555 piece set which features a shooter and a fountain with an exploding function. The Lego Minecraft Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring (21272) however has 491 pieces and includes a fully interactive ring! We reckon both Lego sets should take about an hour to build, and probably best suited for Minecraft builders age 10+.

The Chaos Cards team are looking forward to the Minecraft Lego tie ins, mostly because the included Minifigures look awesome! You know we are already huge Minifigure fans, we loved the Series 27 release and the Dungeons and Dragons collection! These Minecraft Lego sets have an interesting collection of Minifigures, from the instantly recognisable blocky mini figures to some new designs. We believe there is a Mini figure for everyone in this set.

In Lego Minecraft, The Ghast Balloon Village Attack you get Steve (obviously,) Natalie, Dawn, 2 piglins, a ghast balloon, villager, chicken and a Golem. We think the Ghast deserves a mention here; it looks SO GOOD! In the Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring you can expect mini figures of Steve, Garrett, Henry, a baby Zombie, chicken jockey and a hog figure. The handles that attach to the Minifigures for the fighting ring are a great addition, and look set to provide hours of fun.

Fun Tools for Lego Masterbuilders

As with some of the previous Lego releases, (such as Lego Wicked and Lego Wednesday) these Minecraft Movie Lego ties ins fully utilise the Lego Builder App. The Lego Builder App is an amazing addition to the world of Lego. It contains the digital instructions and there’s even the chance to zoom in and rotate the 3d models.
