Pokémon LEGO – Gotta Build ‘em All!
Written by K. Lambert - Apr 17 2026

Can you remember our excitement when the LEGO and Pokémon collaboration was first announced last year? Well, the wait is nearly over! Pokémon fans can soon relive their favourite moments from the video games with these highly detailed LEGO builds that bring the magic of the Kanto region to your living room.
Whether you’re a lifelong Pokémon Master or a casual fan, these sets are true collector's items and designed to be admired. Read on to discover everything you need to know about these electrifying new releases.
The LEGO Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball (72152) is aimed at the Adult fan of LEGO and Pokémon. It is a substantial build, coming in at 2,050 pieces and we think it perfectly captures the electrical energy of Pikachu with it’s dynamic display.
The LEGO Pikachu features his iconic yellow body with rosy, red cheeks and a tail you can fully customise to be either male or female! We love that you can pose Pikachu in a resting pose or launching from their Pokeball. The display base incorporates Pikachu’s Pokédex number as well as translucent lightning sparks. (A perfect nod to the fact that when Pikachu’s gather they can generate enough energy to cause lightning storms.)
Eevee’s genetic code might be unstable but this 587 piece LEGO set is pretty solid. Like Pikachu, this LEGO Eevee (72151) is fully poseable, and designed for movement with adjustable ears and tails. This adds to the curious and playful look that we associate with the adorable Pokémon. Although smaller in scale to the LEGO Pikachu, Eevee would make a great addition to any Pokémon fans collection. LEGO have even included a hidden surprise which highlights Eevee’s evolutions.
For the ultimate LEGO and Pokémon fan there is still the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72152) collection piece to look forward to. The epic 6,838 piece set includes the grass, fire and water type Pokémon in their final evolutions. Each figure is stand alone or can be combined into an epic display piece. (This set is due out later on in the year.)
Build Together with the LEGO Builder App
As with some of the previous adult LEGO releases, these Pokémon sets are compatible with the LEGO Builder App. This amazing app gives you the chance to use digital 3D instructions that let you zoom in and rotate each and every brick in the design.
Like the LEGO Botanicals Range, these sets also include the BUILD TOGETHER mode. This makes the sets the perfect opportunity for couples or friends as you can build a different section of the model simultaneously using your own devices. These Pokémon sets are as much about the social experience of building LEGO as they are the final built product.
This LEGO and Pokémon collaboration really is a dream come true for fans of both franchises. LEGO Eevee and Pikachu do not disappoint at all. The multiple posing options and meticulous detail really are the perfect way of celebrating the beloved franchise.
