“In the near future the suburbs have become a wasteland.
Factories, shopping centres, entire towns left behind as the mega-corps move on to more profitable locations.
Big chunks of abandoned land full of tight alleyways and dangerous overhangs.
Huge. Empty. Enticing.
Buckle up.”
Welcome to the Next Generation!

Joy Ride: Duel, next Gen is a standalone game of electric head to head racing for two players. Its a perfect game to experience the full gameplay of Joyride in a smaller format. Next Gen comes with 2 unique cars (The Electric and The Learner,) and other accessories such as powerful items and tracks which are compatible with any other Joyride game. The maps included within the two player version are The Driving School, where you wind through chicanes on different lines every lap, and The Warehouse, where you must dodge the attacks of security bots. The main goal in Joyride is to be the first to cross the finish line, despite there being no obvious way across the course. This often results in the cars crashing or heading off in oppostie directions during gameplay. Sounds fun right?
Unleash the Joy Ride!

Joy Ride: Unleashed is an expansion for both Joyride: Survival of the Fastest and Joyride Duel: Next Gen. Unleashed includes a Safari 4X4, the Gum Trap item and the Beetle-Gator mutant beast. Lets talk about the Beetle-Gator! Its a fun little addition where the mutated beast scuttles across the board whilst scattering cars left, right and all over the place!
Burn Rubber

We love the fact that Joy Ride and its expansions are highly customisable. The artwork is so cool, it looks like the eighties crashed into a dystopian universe, and thats never a bad thing. The game is a fresh take on other racing style Board Games. It has some great game mechanics and is a really fun addition to any avid board gamers collection. Have you Played Joy Ride or the expansions? Let us know your thoughts about the exhilirating game over on our socials!
