The charming game is perfect for 2 to 4 players aged 6 right up to adults, making it perfect for a fun family game to play together. It is a game that fully captures the spirit of summer, and encourages positive interaction with all players in the game. Sandcastles of Burgundy requires planning ahead and has nice easy to understand instructions which are perfect for learning and getting set up quickly.
Bring the Beach Home (minus the sand!)

Sandcastles of Burgundy might feel familiar to seasoned board gamers, as it happens to be a younger version of the ever popular Castles of Burgundy. We really like it when beloved games adapt the game for a younger crowd – Pax Viking and Pax Viking Junior is another super example of when this concept work out well!
In Sandcastles of Burgundy players must build the GRANDEST sandcastle on the beach. One of the developers of Sandcastles of Burgundy is a Primary School teacher, and you can really tell a lot of thought has gone into making the game educational, without making it feel like a learning game. The colourful and tactile components help with skills such as colour recognition and counting. The game is also good for developing strategic thinking with its engaging gameplay.
A Right, Royal Beach Party

Sandcastles of Burgundy initally can take a little time to set up, but luckily the rules themselves are really easy to follow. The game follows a race style format where all players must prepare for a royal beach party. The fun begins when you roll two dice- to decide your move and to search for treasure, or transport your decorations back to your village. Once players have collected 2 decorations of the same colour, they can search for a matching royal guard – this gives you extra points. In order to win, players collect points by remembering where those royal guards are! How fun does that sound? Not only that, the game looks really good too- with charming artwork and nice chunky pieces to hold.
