Gamble Cold Hard Credits in a Lawless Time with Star Wars Unlimited

Return to a galaxy of endless possibilities and rich storytelling with the highly anticipated seventh set for Star Wars: Unlimited.

While the previous expansion, Secrets of Power, was defined by political manoeuvring and high-stakes scheming, A Lawless Time takes us somewhere much more unruly. Get ready to head to the Outer Rim and meet the galaxy's most notorious criminal masterminds and daring outlaws.

Featuring 260 new cards, this set moves the attention away from the intrigue of the Senate floors and into the gritty underworld. From high-stakes heists to thrilling raids; it’s time to find out if you have what it takes to survive in a galaxy where the only rule is the weight of your credits.

A Lawless Time looks set to be faster, stronger and bolder then previous Unlimited sets and we can’t wait to see what this expansion brings to the Star Wars universe. Get ready for some intense gameplay...

Spotlight on Jabba and Leia

One of the things we like about Star Wars Unlimited is the Spotlight Decks. The 50 card decks are perfect for newcomers to the game and great for getting stuck into a game straightaway. A Lawless Time shines the spotlight on Jabba and (spoiler alert) his Hutt-Slayer Leia. Each deck highlights the characters unique playstyles.

  • Jabba the Hutt: As you can guess, Jabba the Hutts Spotlight Deck is all about money, and revolves around generating and spending credits in order to fund the scheming of the underworld. This in turn helps to overwhelm opponents with Jabbas sheer financial authority.
  • Leia Organa: If you are after something high risk but with rewarding strategy, then the Leia Organa Spotlight Deck sounds like it might be for you. Her deck features all new multi – aspect cards. Her deckbuilding requirements maybe more restrictive then other characters but the potential of having more aspects to hand more than compensates for this.

Cold Hard Credits

The introduction of the Credit Token (T01) looks to be a total game changer in A Lawless Time. Credits don’t control your game effects, they sit in reserve until you need them. You can use a Credit token at any time in order to pay for a cards resource or trigger a powerful ability. We think the Credit Token is an excellent addition to Star Wars Unlimited and offers the ultimate Lando style “ace up your sleeve” for when you need to play a high cost unit a turn early or catch your opponent off guard.

With A Lawless Time, Star Wars Unlimited is continuing the tradition of delivering an exciting and immersive fan experience from the Outer Rim. A Lawless Time looks set to be faster, stronger and bolder then previous Unlimited sets and we can’t wait to see what this expansion brings to the Star Wars universe. With the spotlight on either Leia and the multi-aspect power or Jabbas gambling credits fans of the dark underbelly of the Star Wars universe are bound to be pleased with this release.
