Chaos Cards Returns to the UK Games Expo

There’s nothing quite like the excitement and enthusiasm at the UK Games Expo in Birmingham. For the tenth year running, Chaos Cards are returning to the NEC to join some of the UK's most passionate gaming community in person. We love getting the chance to talk games, share hobby tips, and meet our customers. We had such a great time last year, and the team are back in 2026 with some VERY special surprises in store for our decade at the UKGE anniversary, so make sure you op by our stand to hear our news.

So, hands up if you’re ready for a full weekend dedicated to tabletop games!

There’s a reason the UKGE is the highlight of the gaming calendar. It’s a fantastic event for anyone who loves tabletop gaming, with something for everyone; from high-effort cosplay and role-playing to tournaments and relaxed gameplay. Here’s a list of reasons why you need to be at the NEC in 2026:

• The Trade Halls. This is where the Chaos Cards Expo Team will be! (Do come and say hi.) The Trade Hall is a buzzing hub of exhibitors and traders, don’t forget to pick up a map in case you get lost.
• Tournaments. Every year the UK Games Expo hosts card games, board games and dice game tournaments, as well as some miniature related events. Get ready to test your skills out in a fun but competitive atmosphere. (Note: These tournaments do require an additional event ticket.)
• Shows. Did you know that there is plenty of entertainment to be had at the Expo? There’s lots of live shows scattered across the weekend which combine gaming with comedy and even some audience participation.
• Food. We love food. And luckily there are many, many options available at the Expo this year. So whether you fancy a meal, snack or a drink, there is something for everyone.
• Family Friendly. Every year, the Chaos Cards team love seeing all the families out and about having a great time. There is so many things to enjoy for families with kids of all ages, (even families with grown up children!) There are competitions, a designated children’s area and a play zone where you can try out a wide variety of games.
• Cosplay. You can’t have something as big as the UK Board Games Expo and not have people dress up. It all goes hand in hand; From Storm troopers, to Dr Who, and some Super Heroes (plus the occasional Orc…) There is even a designated Cosplay stand, and plenty photo opportunities daily.
• Games. We couldn’t talk about the Expo and NOT talk about the huge variety of games that will be on offer, from demo games, to the more established games we all know and love. There is plenty of opportunities for open gaming across the whole weekend.
• The Pin Collective. Discover, collect and trade unique enamel pins which have been created specifically for the UKGE. These exclusive, shiny pins are only available from each exhibitors stand over the course of the weekend. You can even swap pins every afternoon at the Pin Collective Swap Zone on stand 4-490.
• Chaos Cards. We couldn’t write a list of reasons to visit the UK Board Games Expo and not include ourselves! We love getting the chance to say 'hi' and chat about Board Games. So don't forget to pop over and check out what we have to offer. This is set to be a BIG year for Chaos Cards and we can’t wait to share it with you guys.
