Blue-Eyes’, Blackwing’s and a Big Bad Train!

It's 2021 and a new year brings hot new Yu-Gi-Oh! releases! First up this year, we combine White Dragon Abyss, Sisters of the Rose and so much more in Legendary Duelists: Season 2!
In each box of Legendary Duelists: Season 2 you’ll be getting two 18 card booster packs and a special collectible dice! Inside those booster packs, you’ll be pulling 1 of 10 secret rares and 6 of 30 ultra rares (with blue, green, purple or standard coloured text)! There is a load of notable cards in this set (including a couple of brand-new cards too!) so let’s take a look at some of them!
Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon and Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon are the newest dragons on the block! The former majorly helps you get ‘Blue-Eyes’ Ritual and Fusion cards onto the field like Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon and Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon (also available in this set!) as well as giving you the ability to power up each of your Level 8 or higher Dragons on the field by banishing it from the GY! The latter helps improve you Galaxy-Eyes plays, as well as giving you the ability to double your ‘Number’ XYZ monsters’ ATK!
As this is a Legendary Duelist box, we’ve got a lot of reprints from previous Legendary Duelist sets, and there are a lot of really good ones too! We’ll start with one of my favourites, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Juggernaut Liebe! This Rank 11 XYZ monster is a beast with a big ATK and the potential to OTK your opponent as soon as it hits the field! This is boosted by another fantastic ‘Train-supporting’ reprint, Urgent Schedule, that lets you summon smaller trains and potentially grab a bigger train when it leaves the field! If you ever wanted to play big trains, it’s now even easier to get a hold of all the pieces you need!
There are a lot of people out there who love Cyber Dragons, and I’m one of them! In this set there are a ton of great Cyber Dragon reprints, most notably Cyber Dragon Nachster and Cyberload Fusion! Nachster allows you to flood the field with as many Cyber Dragons as you need, while Cyberload Fusion helps you fuse your Cyber Dragon monsters with even greater ease!
Blackwing’s are a very loved archetype and they get some good reprints here too with Blackwing – Simoon the Poison Wind being a standout, allowing you to get all the Blackwing cards you need to set up your swift plays! And finally, another gorgeous reprint of Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon! There’s already a lot of Blue-Eyes love in this box and this reprint is the icing on top of the dragon-shaped cake! If you don’t already know, Alternative is special summoned simply by revealing a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from your hand, not only giving you a 3000 ATK monster with relative ease, but also giving you another named Blu-Eyes White Dragon on the field!
There’s so much more in this set to support other archetypes like Rose Dragons, Harpies, Lunalight, Abyss Actor and Photon!
