From Pokemon cards and Pokemon Tins to Pokemon Booster Boxes and Pokemon plasma packs, you will find the cards you need today. In a game of Pokémon TCG, players use their Pokemon to battle. When a Pokémon's Hit Points (HP) is reduced to 0 it is knocked out and the player who knocked it out may take a Prize card. Pokemon cards games can be won in 3 ways; by collecting all of their prize cards, if their opponent runs out of Pokémon on the field or if their opponent must draw a card from their deck but all the cards have been drawn. There are many types of Pokemon cards; the rarest are called Level X Cards and/or Ex Cards. These cards either enhance a Pokemon's attacks or are stronger versions of the card with a significant drawback. In the case of Pokemon Ex, the drawback is your opponent can take 2 prize cards when the Pokemon is knocked out. Level X cards, first introduced in Diamond & Pearl, take your Pokemon to the next level, usually enhancing the hit points and giving access to additional powerful attacks. These cards usually have a silvery border, holographic picture and are highly prized.

2010 saw the introduction of Legend Cards, these were so massive that they required two normal cards (one of each half, top and bottom) to put into play. Popular Legend Cards include, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Suicune, Entei, Raikou, Rayqauza, Kyogre, Deoxys and Darkrai. The 2011 set saw the launch of Black & White cards, featuring brand new Pokemon from the Unova region - Ultra Rare Pokemon Cards Zekrom and Reshiram as well as the popular Zorua and Zoroark. The card expansion, Black & White Emerging Powers is the first Pokemon cards set to feature online code cards that can be used to unlock booster packs on Pokemon TCG online.
