If you are new to Magic the Gathering then this really is a good product for you. There is a selection of common and uncommon cards from the most recent set (in this case Core Set 2020) as well as four boosters from the last 4 sets (in this pack that is Guilds of Ravnica, Allegiances of Ravnica, War of the Spark and Core Set 2020) to flesh out the collection. There is also 20ish land of each colour and 2 dual lands for all 10 colour pairs to help with the mana base. There is enough variation here to make 2 60 card decks that will be competitive against each other. There is also enough cards to make a 60 card deck in each of the 2 colour combinations, although some will be better than others and you start to hit limitations when sharing the pool (ie expect your black/red and black/green decks to be really watered down if you make them both at the same time as you are spreading the black cards very thin). I bought two of these, one for my son and one for me and we are having great fun exploring the pools, even though the majority of the pool are identical, we have enjoyed finding the best colour combos and using the cards from the boosters to flavour our decks. Finally, although I don't think I would pay full retail price for this product as is, at the price that Chaos Cards were offering it at I think it is excellent value and have even convinced some friends to buy it!
