This year is going to be an exciting year with the opening of our first bricks and mortar store in Folkestone, Kent. We have a number of positions below and also we need two new permanent members of the team for our office at our headquarters. The applications are open now.

Hobby Store Full-Time Assistants

Chaos Cards, the U.K’s leading collectible card and hobby gaming specialist retailer requires two outstanding candidates to assist the retail store team on a full time basis.

 Responsibilities

  • Serving customers
  • Till and cash handling
  • Replenishing of stock and cleaning.
  • Event management

Pre-requisites

  • 1 year retail experience
  • Working hours – average 37.5 hours a week
  • Willing to work at weekends
  • Able to work alone, although this will be rare

– You will need to pass a three month trial period. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience, but starts from National Living Wage / Minimum Wage

 

Hobby Store Part-Time Assistants

Chaos Cards, the U.K’s leading collectible card and hobby gaming specialist retailer requires two outstanding candidates to assist the retail store team with

Responsibilities

  • Serving customers
  • Till and cash handling
  • Replenishing of stock and cleaning.
  • Event management

Pre-requisites

  • 1 year retail experience
  • Working hours – average 16 hours a week
  • Willing to work at weekends
  • Flexible and willing to fill in for staff holidays and sick leave

– You will need to pass a three month trial period. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience, but starts from National Living Wage / Minimum Wage

Customer Services Supervisor

Chaos Cards, the U.K’s leading collectible card and hobby gaming specialist retailer requires an outstanding candidate to supervise their growing customer services department. You will be responsible for providing the best customer experience possible, to a wide range of consumers, from hard core strategy gamers to parents and grandparents in desperate need of ideas for presents!
You will be working in our office at our headquarters in Folkestone and reporting to our general manager. We are a rapidly growing company, so progression is readily achievable for a committed and ambitious individual.

To be successful you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. – Answering queries on social media
– Answering the telephone
– Dealing with returned post
– Dealing with trade account enquiries
– Replying to Trustpilot reviews
– Supervising junior staff member
– Other duties may involve, packing orders and breaking down new card sets as they are released
– Keeping the facilities clean and tidy

Pre-requisites

– Strong background in customer services
– Would consider someone whose previous position required extensive verbal interaction with the public, but was not a defined customer services role
– Adept at efficiently using computer software
– Good phone manner essential
– Able to think quickly on feet

Product Co-ordination Assistant

Chaos Cards, the U.K’s leading collectible card and hobby gaming specialist retailer requires an outstanding candidate to assist the product buying and listing team. As our company rapidly grows there is plenty of scope for progression, you will be encouraged to seek out new product lines we could sell, act as the point of contact with that manufacturer and manage our stock holding.

Responsibilities

– Listing products onto our website
– Checking stock levels
– Checking prices on products including single cards
– Checking and agreeing buylists
– Assisting buying team with purchases
– Other duties may involve, packing orders and breaking down new card sets as they are released
– Keeping the facilities clean and tidy

Pre-requisites

– Ability to work quickly and accurately with computer software packages
– Highly numerate
– Some knowledge of hobby gaming products highly desirable
– You will need to pass a three month trial period. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience, but starts from £7.20 per hour.
