A good, abstract, area control game. The game is inspired on the ancient Kitara kingdom, a semi mythological kingdom that might have ruled central and east Africa during the lower middle ages. The theme is appealing and well represented in the game's art, although it has no impact in the game. Yet, it is a nice motivation. The rules are very well written and straightforward to follow. The player will not need more than three or four of rounds to get used to the mechanics before completely forgetting about the rulebook. It is a light game, good for entry level playing. More experienced players may find it a bit simple. Yet, it is a good addition to your game shelf.
