A game of Eclipse places you in control of a vast interstellar civilization, competing for success with its rivals. You explore new star systems, research technologies, and build spaceships with which to wage war. There are many potential paths to victory, so you need to plan your strategy according to the strengths and weaknesses of your species, while paying attention to the other civilizations' endeavors.

Eclipse: Second Dawn for the Galaxy is a revised and upgraded version of the Eclipse base game that debuted in 2011 that features:

An introductory short story by award-winning science fiction novelist Johanna Sinisalo, providing rich background for the world of Eclipse

Fantastic game offering a lot of interesting choices to players. The rulebook is quite large but not because it's hard but because is very well done with plenty of examples and details. Be wary though, it requires a lot of space!

The product has one of the best storage solutions I have ever seen for a board game. Unfortunately due to COVID haven't had a chance to play it with anyone yet to see if its actually any good. In the mean time till resort to dreaming about meeting people in a social situation to play this and watch youtube videos as i dream of a life i can never have
