This remastered edition of History of the World contains a beautifully illustrated board, revised rules to streamline the experience, and everything you need to etch your name in the annals of history.
You’ll choose one of forty historical empires to control during each of History of the World’s five epochs and they all come with their own strategic considerations. Each empire has its own number of starting armies, a starting territory, and unique abilities that help determine your course of action during that epoch. You might focus on securing resources to build monuments as the Egyptians, or you could become the Carthaginians and trample your opponents beneath the thundering feet of your war elephants. Whichever civilization you choose, your actions in one epoch echo into the next. Whoever can make the best use of their civilization’s unique attributes will position themselves to rule through the ages.

- This offer does not apply after you have placed the order. We are unable to offer any discount in retrospect, after you have ordered. For this offer to be valid you must contact us prior to placing an order
- The product must be in stock and available for purchase when we verify the price (please note this might be 24 hours after your email has been sent)
- The product must be correctly categorised for VAT purposes, for example, if it is a miniature or toy product, but listed as a book on the other site, we will only be able to match after adding 20% UK VAT to the price.
- The Price Match team conduct price checks Monday-Friday (9am to 5pm)
- The cost must include any delivery costs
- The company must be shipping from the UK and have a valid VAT registration number
- The Price Match Promise does not include auction sites such as E-bay, Amazon and Play
