Chaos Cards Assemble

Hobby Store Manager required!

Chaos Cards Tabletop Gaming Centre (Folkestone, Kent – UK), one of the first two Hobby stores to be recognised as a Premium Store location for Magic the Gathering in the United Kingdom, has an exciting opportunity for a new store manager! The successful candidate will be able to build on the excellent work we have already done, grabbing the reins and taking us boldly to dizzying new heights we have only dreamt of!

Reporting to the directors you will need to possess a particular set of skills! Blending organisational excellence with a profusion of charisma, you will be a ubiquitous presence throughout the shop. You will be charged with responsibility for overseeing the growth of our organised play programs and commanding a small, but dedicated workforce.

You will either need your own transport or will live locally. You will also need to be willing to work to a rota on some weekends and some late nights. Friday nights and Saturday afternoons are the stores busiest periods and will be the centre piece of your economic strategy.

The remuneration package is dependent on experience, we are thinking an annual salary in the mid-twenties with performance related add-ons. The role will require you to work at least 42.5 hours each week, overtime may be required during busy periods.

There may also be opportunities for you to work at our headquarters (also based in Folkestone) and with our exhibition teams.

We are looking for a truly ambitious individual and therefore as a reward for excellent results, there will ultimately be a future opportunity to either buy a financial stake in the store or receive some form of share option in the holding company.

If you are interested in applying, please email attention Anthony Skinner with your current Curriculum Vitae and a covering letter detailing why you’re the ideal candidate for this role.

There is no closing date for applications, and we will be taking down this advert once an offer has been agreed and accepted. We will be offering interviews to successful prospective candidates as we receive emails.

We look forward with interest to hearing from you.
