Using the buylist

This works in the same manner as a normal shopping basket. Once you have found the card you wish to sell, add the quantity to the quantity box and click the link “Add to List”. The cards will then display on the right hand side. Once you have finished selecting the items you wish to sell, press the Submit Buy-list button and the buy-list will be sent to us. If you need to review what you have submitted, you can do this through the “my account” screen, where you can view your submitted buy-lists The next step is you will be sent an email from us with the details of where to send the buy-list. We may also need to ask you some questions about the cards you wish to sell, and we will do so here. When you receive this update please print it out and include it in your parcel. The final step is to then send us your cards!

Note that we usually do not accept more than 4 copies of each card. If you want to sell a larger number of copies of one card please contact with us first.

Once the buy-list is finalized and agreed we can pay you. We can pay you by Bank Transfer, Cheque or by Paypal (Paypal may charge you a fee for receiving the payment). Bank Transfers and Cheques can only be made to UK Customers. For International Wire Transfers, we must deduct £10 from the final amount to cover the charges.

You can also take store credit as a payment option, for such buy-lists you can claim an additional 20% on top of the amount already offered. Please note the store credit system is NOT compatible with PayPal, Amazon or Ukash payment methods.

Preparing the parcel

Here at Chaos Cards we can only accept mint condition cards on our buylists. Condition is very important on our buylists. If we receive a card in poor condition, we simply CANNOT resell it to other customers. Sending in damaged/poor condition cards will result in your cards being rejected and sent back to you at your expense. Making sure that your cards are in acceptable condition BEFORE you send them in helps us to expedite your buylist and process them much faster.

The return of a rejected buylist will cost £3 (this may increase slightly depending on the size of the buylist) Please do not send in damaged/poor condition cards as it wastes both your time and ours.

A mint condition card should be brand new and "pack fresh". It should have zero wear on the corners and edges, no scuffs or scratches and no creases or bends (click the links to see example pictures of unacceptable cards). Also, there should be no fading, discolouration or water damage. This applies to the back AND front of every card you send in to us. (At the bottom of this page you will see some examples of cards that we cannot accept as the break one of the above rules. )

Cards will be checked for condition and quality upon arrival by our single card experts who have years of TCG experience between them. No money will be paid out until they have checked every individual card by hand. The decisions of our experts are final.

Once you are sure that all the cards are in mint condition you need to check that the parcel is secure and the cards are well packaged. We would recommend that you send valuable cards in toploaders and lesser cards in cardboard boxes. Elastic bands and sticky tape can cause damage to the cards and may result in delays and rejection of some of your cards.

Put the cards in the order of your invoice, failure to do so may result in a sorting fee of 25% of your entire order total.

Cards may not be shipped in binders, 9 pocket pages, or sleeves. This helps expedite the time it takes us to process your order.

We reserve the right to refuse any buy list orders at our discretion.

We strongly recommend you use a tracked method of posting to ensure your cards arrive safely. Signed for or Special Delivery by Royal Mail will give you some insurance. You may wish to consult the Royal Mail for guidance on whether your package will be a large letter, letter or Packet. Your local post office should be able to help you before you send the cards to us and will be able to advise on the appropriate service to ensure your cards are adequately insured.

Large Parcels : For large collections we can arrange for our courier to call at a convenient time and collect your cards from you. Should you wish to take us up on this offer, please let us know and we will arrange a quotation. We would subtract the freight charge from the final payment.
