This game could easily have been produced without a theme and would still be a fantastic experience. The Jack the Ripper, Victorian Manhunt simply adds another level of flavour and is executed exquisitely.
One player plays as Jack the Ripper, secretly moving around the board in an attempt to return to his hidden abode after committing grisly murder. One to five other players take up the role of the police, tracking Jack through the streets in an effort to make an arrest or prevent him from reaching home.

This game is a pure puzzle. While higher player counts work very well, the game shines when it's a battle of wits - One on one.
You'll need all your deductive reasoning skills to be in top condition if you're to have any chance of deducing the hidden movements made by Saucy Jack.
If you're looking for something challenging, yet easy to learn, that will tax those gray cells to the maximum, then this game is the ideal choice. Most highly recommended for any collection.

If you like logic and deduction, if you like pitting your wits against other players, if you like tension then this is the game for you. Jack leaves a trail of clues from where he has moved, but only if you can find them as the police. Once you have the trail don't let it go as it is a race to capture the infamous Jack!

We play this 2 player, one as jack and one as the 5 police pawns, it is quick turns and we use pen and paper to make notes on moves and it is always a tense close game. Can you change history as the police and capture Jack, or will you escape as jack outnumbered, but not out thought!!
