What is Secrets of Power About?

The Secrets of Power set, releasing on November 7, 2025, is the sixth expansion for the Star Wars: Unlimited Trading Card Game. It shifts the focus away from the battlefield and onto the crucial information war being waged behind the scenes.

This new chapter highlights espionage, spycraft, and political intrigue, featuring cunning conspirators and formidable agents from across multiple eras of the Star Wars galaxy. The set places a particular focus on Operatives, Agents, Officials and Schemers. We love that this new release is set to focus on the dark side of the Force, showcasing Sith power and political manoeuvring.

Expect to see beloved characters take centre stage, including Cassian Andor, Leia Organa, Queen Amidala (Padmé), and Captain Rex, among others.

Welcome New Mechanics

Secrets of Power introduces game-changing new mechanics that reward careful planning and strategic deception, adding significant depth to the gameplay strategy:

• Plot: Plot cards allow players to execute a long-term strategy that builds towards a high-impact turn once their Leader unit is played.
• Disclose: To use an ability with the Disclose mechanic, players must disclose (reveal) a specific Aspect icon in their hand. This adds an element of calculated risk and resource management.
• Spy Tokens: Generated by other cards, these tokens may seem unthreatening at first but can quickly turn into a significant threat if left unchecked.

Exclusive New Prestige Card Variants

As an extra treat for collectors and players, Secrets of Power is set to release two brand-new prestige card variants:

• Propaganda Cards: These will feature official units and art in the striking style of vintage propaganda posters.
• Renegade Cards: These variants will look similar in style to the iconic hologram bounty pucks seen in The Mandalorian.

What can we expect in Secrets of Power?

Secrets of Power will see the release of the standard 16 cards booster packs which will include 9 commons cards, 3 uncommon cards, 1 rare or legendary card, 1 leader, 1 base/token and 1 foil card. For the ultimate collector, the premium Carbonite Booster Pack is back! These packs are loaded with exclusive variant cards that will never be reprinted. Each Carbonite booster includes: The Carbonite booster packs will include 1 hyperspace/showcase leader card, 6 premium foil cards, 1 foil rare or legendary card, 1 carbonite -exlusive prestige card, 1 hyperspace or legendary card and 2 hyperspace foil cards.

To help players jump straight into the new set's focus on intrigue and spycraft, there will be exciting Spotlight Decks available, featuring Padmé Amidala and Chancellor Palpatine. Each Spotlight Deck is ready to play straight out of the box, offering a complete 50-card deck to help you face off against your opponent in a head-to-head battle.
