Chaos Cards 2017 – Apprentice Positions Now Available!

We’re working with Kent Training and Apprenticeships to provide various Apprentice positions in our warehouse and our upcoming store!

Kent Training and Apprenticeships have been supporting people to gain qualifications and develop skills for over 30 years.Working with large and small organisations across Kent, they offer high quality accredited and bespoke training. They offer assistance with getting interview skills up to scratch, improving Maths or English, achieving occupational qualifications, and arranging Apprenticeships with hundreds of employers in Kent.

Apprenticeships allow people to earn qualifications, get workplace experience and earn a wage. KTA training is delivered by experts in the chosen industry, alongside on-the-job training, to make sure you get the right skills to begin building your career. If you live in Kent, are aged 16 or over, are not in full time education, and have five GCSEs including Maths and English at Grades A-C, or Functional Skills at Level 1, you can apply for an Apprenticeship through KTA!

Apprentice Customer Services Officer

To assist the Customer Services team to deal with all aspects of Customer Services, including dealing directly with the public via the phone and email. This will be extended when we move to our new High Street Shop in April, to include face to face customer service.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the customer services team with phone calls, email and post
conflict resolution
Gain knowledge of how couriers operate and tracing parcels
Making claims for lost parcels
Dealing with customer returns and items not called for from the post office
Writing clear and concise e-mails
From April, dealing face to face with members of the public in our new High Street shop
Assisting with other office tasks
Keeping the workspace clean and tidy

Apprentice Multi-Channel Officer

Working in the product co-ordination team, selling products across different third party web platforms, such as Amazon and eBay.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling across multiple third party web platforms
  • Managing and creating product listings on Amazon and eBay platforms
  • Dealing with fulfilment by Amazon shipments
  • Replenishing stock database across multiple channels
  • Assisting with other office tasks
  • Keeping the workplace clean and tidy

Apprentice Sales Assistant

Assisting the store team with serving customers and running successful gaming events.

Responsibilities:

  • Face to face sales
  • Dealing with the general public
  • Selling and promoting product lines
  • Restocking shelves and assisting with stock management
  • Till operation and handling money
  • Assisting at ‘in-store’ events
  • Any other duties required

Apprentice Digital Marketer

Assisting the store team with serving customers and running successful gaming events.

Responsibilities:

  • Face to face sales
  • Dealing with the general public
  • Selling and promoting product lines
  • Restocking shelves and assisting with stock management

  • Assisting at ‘in-store’ events
  • Any other duties required

Apprentice Product Buyer

Working in the product co-ordination team with purchasing products from suppliers and adding these to the website.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing products from suppliers
  • Adding these to the website
  • Gaining familiarity with profit margins
  • Recognising sales trends and flagging product lines for continued restock or to be discontinued
  • Listing restocks for sale and analysing price fluctuations to keep pricing up to date
  • Assisting with other office tasks
  • Keeping the workspace clean and tidy

Apprentice Warehouse Assistant

Working in the warehouse to receive goods and to pick and correctly pack orders to be despatched.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the warehouse team with the creation of customer orders
  • Learning good techniques for creation of parcels in an efficient manner
  • Selecting appropriate parcels in an efficient manner
  • Working in a Health and Safety conscious way
  • Checking in all new stock and reporting shortages
  • Methodically filing away all stock efficiently
  • Assisting with other warehouse tasks and keeping the premises clean and tidy
